Adisa Banjoko or Adisa the Bishop, is known by many names. He is the charismatic founder of the Hip-Hop Chess Federation, an organization that uses chess and martial arts to teach non-violence to at-risk and incarcerated youth.
The Bishop is also the author of dope book called Bobby, Bruce & the Bronx: The Secrets of Hip-Hop Chess. It is a history book about hip-hop, chess, and martial arts in America in the 1970s.
