The Combine | Wordsmith & Performance Contest

The Combine, our inaugural wordsmithing and performance contest, was held last month, and it was an overwhelming success. To test their abilities in writing, freestyle, public speaking, poetry, hip-hop trivia, and other areas, 120 competitors from all over the nation joined us at the Eaton Hotel in Washington, DC. We were thrilled to see a featured performance by Lady Brion, a Women of the World Poetry Slam Champion and an International Poetry Slam Champion, and the appearance of our celebrity guests Substantial, O-Slice, Nonchalant, Oddisee, and SA Roc.
