Event Description:

Join teaching artist Taylor Matthews for a choreopoem workshop where participants will collaborate to develop an original piece. This workshop aims to expose those with little experience in theater to dynamic forms that incorporate elements of dance and slam poetry. To bring their vision to life, participants will use theater blocks to construct their sets. It is recommended that each participant have a notebook to document their poetry and stage directions.
