Join us for an electrifying start to our Word Power Festival with Kanikki J and the 2024 Youth Poet Laureates: Isaac Yebio (DC), Tara Prakash (Montgomery County) and Mia Dimina (Arlington, VA) as they share their impactful words and diverse perspectives. Don't miss the chance to hear from these rising stars and join in on the celebration of poetry during National Poetry Month.

These young poets have already made a significant impact in their communities with their powerful words and inspiring messages. Their work reflects the diverse experiences and perspectives of today's youth, and we are honored to have them share their talent at our festival.

The open mic portion of the event will also give budding poets in the audience a chance to showcase their own pieces and join in on the celebration of poetry.
